Brayva is celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, 2022. IWD is a global day where we celebrate the achievements of women since its inception in 1911.
Owned and operated by female founder Jayde Williams, Brayva is proud to highlight female strength today and every day. We celebrate and acknowledge the strength shown by women in history who have stood up and demanded equality. It is because of those women, that we have the opportunities we have today. The opportunity to have an education, an occupation, equal pay and the right to vote. Whilst there are still many issues that are fought on a daily basis, we are headed in the right direction.
The theme this year is #breakthebias, striving for a gender-equal world, free of bias, discrimination and stereotypes. Brayva endeavours to empower all genders to realise their potential, see their strengths and celebrate all achievements. Whilst it is important to acknowledge that men and women are different, we should celebrate our strengths and remove stigma and discrimination as a result of gender.
We want to inspire, encourage and educate current and future generations on what was and what should be. We want you to know that you are stronger than you were, better than you think and Brayva then you know!
